Basic Technical Specifications

• Platform independent (32 bit Windows version plus upcoming Java release)
• Supports sending messages
• Supports receiving messages and receipts
• Can be run as a Java service and a Windows 2000 service
• Monitors GSM Modem connectivity
• Supports COM interface for third party application integration
• User definable class for handling incoming messages (two default classes to choose from; one that saves the messages to a text log and another that stores the data in a database)
• Can control and manage as many GSM Modems as your PC can handle
• Can control and manage as many cell phones/mobile phones as your PC can handle (ie; turn mobile phones into 2 way application devices). Most phones that can communicate using the generic AT command set, such as the Siemens S35 and ME45, can be controlled by SMSDemon. SMSDemon can communicate with Nokia's using the Nokia Data Suite (although some Nokia's do accept AT commands)
